Flaine is part of the Grand Massif and very close to Geneva - superb for skiing in France. This offers some fantastic skiing in Flaine - you can find some really great runs for all levels of skiing.

We believe that Flaine offers  the best possible skiing in France , its close to Geneva with excellent runs and a superb snow record .

Lots of Greens and blues, reds and a few terrrific blacks - its great for beginners, intermediates and experts that are looking to ski! Over 265 kms of pistes. This year we skiied at the end of April at Sixt and Flaine and it was fantastic.

We discovered Flaine about 4 years ago and it has everything for a family skiing in France - not a lot of night life for the young ones though its more a family ski resort.

Superbly located for the ski slops, this traditional 1 bedroom apartment is within a 500 metre walk to the slopes or alternatively you can jump on the free ski bus. Traditional ski apartment in Flaine that can sleep up to six, with a superb south facing balcony. There is one double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, separate wc, two bunk beds in the hallway and a sofa bed within the lounge/diner/kitchen.

The apartment will sleep 6 but we prefer 4 people.

There is a TV with dvd and cd player incorporated,microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with icebox freezer compartment, coffee machine, hoover.

Further details indoors: Fully fitted kitchen /lounge area with superb panoramic views of the Flaine ski slopes .From the apartment just 50 metres away is the ski hire shop.There is a ski bus which stops within 50 metres of the apartment direct to the slopes where there is a ski pass chalet.

The apartment is fully fitted with everything you need for a weeks stay - TV ,DVD,kettle toaster microwave . , fridge with icebox freezer compartment, coffee machine, hoover and microwave. Bring your own towels and sheets (duvets provided).

Further details outdoors: Located a hop skip and a jump from Geneva . Either take the bus (if there are only 2 of you) from Geneva direct to Flaine , or hire a car (you may need snow chains).

Its better to go French side as its cheaper - its on the first floor up in the right hand corner through the French sector . We load up on supplies close to the airport as its cheaper than in the resort . Its then an hours drive to the apartment.

If you time it right the ski bus will drop you at the slopes thats less than 2 mins on the bus . LES GERATS CHAIRLIFT JUST BEHIND THE APARTMENT is ideal for easy access to the slopes .

The ski school can be booked on the way to the slopes and there are 3 ski hire shops on the way. We leave our skis at the ski locker cabin at the end of each day to avoid carrying them backwards and forwards.
