Residencial Entre Naranjos is in a beautiful setting up on a hill in the middle of acres & acres of Spanish orange groves. It is secluded enough to be away from all the hustle & bustle while at the same time being convenient to amenities. In the springtime the smell of orange blossom envelops the area. Nearby a picturesque castle overlooks the land, and the newly built "La Finca" golf course is less than 5 minutes drive away. Entre Naranjos is a reasonably small community but facilities such as shops & bar will be present upon completion. Apartments are built only two storeys high.
Although it is on a large new development, the properties have been built in a traditional Spanish/Moorish style, white buildings with terracotta-tiled roofs. The properties are designed around a number of communal pools, each being accessed by a small number of residents within the "community". A small number of shops and restaurant-type facilities are currently under construction, but for the moment a car would be recommended unless you're looking for a complete holiday away from it all!
1066 is a 2 Bedroom spanish apartment on the first and second floor of a 2-storey building with its own private rooftop solarium, as well as a private terrace just off the lounge. The communal swimming pool is only a few seconds away, and there are large beautifully landscaped central gardens, with palms trees.
The apartment comfortably sleeps 6 people, in 1 twin room, 1 double room with a double sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is well fitted, and the bathroom has a bidet and over bath shower. There are all the facilities you would expect to find, including, hob and oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, large floor fans, television, DVD player and CD player. A full inventory will be sent to you before departure, but we've tried to make sure there will be most of the things you'd have at home. There are lots of inflatables and a dinghy so you don't need to worry about taking those. The apartment is secured with a sophisticated alarm system which Brian the key-holder will explain to you. If you prefer not to use it that's fine, but we recommend you do.
The bread man comes every morning at 10.30 selling all sorts of breads and patisseries. He hoots his horn, and the kids love running down to wait for him.
The Bodega man comes every Tuesday at about 12.30 selling wine, spirits and beers direct from the cask, vintage wines, canned drinks, jams and other local produce. Can recommend the vino tinto (5 litres for 5 euros 75!) and the tomato jam. It's amazing how quickly you can drink 5 litres of wine, and at that price, who cares whether it gets finished! Like the bread man, the adults love running down to greet the bodega man!
A private balcony leads from the living room, and has a table and chairs. From here, prettily tiled steps lead up to the large private rooftop solarium. This has magnificent views over the orange and lemon groves, probably the best views on the whole development. A large table and 6 chairs are here, with barbeque facilities and sun loungers.
It's no more than a 15-minute drive to the nearest beaches, and you will find yourself spoiled for choice with more than 23 sandy spanish beaches in the area. They have all been awarded the triple European Blue Flag and are cleaned daily during the summer season making this a pleasurable holiday in Spain.
This luxury spanish apartment is also grat for a golf holiday in Spain as there are several courses close by.
