Betws y Coed is a beautiful small town set in the Snowdon foothills - there is an absolute wealth of individual shops and eating places . Many outdoor shops are located here and the town is a real gem.
Forget the car and wander around - there are many fabulous waalks direct from the town, stop for lunch on the way back.Wander to the superb little golf course surrounded by the rivers- its picturesque and peaceful and unspoilt by the commercial giants - non of the usual high street giants are here.
From the north it is best to head onto the A55 along the North Wales coast, and then the A470 into Betws. From the South use the A5. Further details on how to get there will be provided if you book.
Wrexham is the largest town in North Wales, located to the east of the region. It is situated between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley close to the border with Cheshire, England. As North Wales' largest town, it is a major centre of the region's commercial, retail and educational infrastructure. The town is host to a wide variety of culture, music, religious sights, parks and shopping centres. There is something in Wrexham for everyone! Visitor attractions include Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Clywedog Valley, Erddig Hall, Racecourse Ground, St. Giles Church - One of the Seven Wonders of Wales and burial place of Elihu Yale, Techniquest Glyndŵr and Wrexham County Museum.
